Exceptional! Absolutely amazing property, great stay from start to finish, fantastic facilities, luxurious yet still comfortable and cozy. I stayed with my 7 month old baby and 2 dogs and it was perfect. The location was ideal aswell, close to shops and pubs. Helen couldn't do enough for us and was lovely to meet her when she stopped by. All the produce in the little Hamper were delicious!! We will definitely stay again!! Matress was the comfiest I've slept in!

The most beautiful house I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The facilities were all top notch, the welcoming hamper, the fact Tesco was right around the corner. I couldn't recommend this house any more. Perfect for a group of friends or families and the pricing is exceptional for what you receive. Both the double beds were larger than kings with the comfiest possible mattresses and pillows, those of us who used the singles said the same of the comfort and quality, bathrooms as well were spotless and beyond luxurious. The jacuzzi was cleaned once during the middle of our stay, this is when we got to meet the manager of the property Steph, a lovely lady who made us all feel extremely welcomed even when hungover 😅

The property was stunning, the interior design is incredible, and the host went over and above to make the place feel homely and tailor to our needs. The location is perfect as it’s right by greenfield station, a big Tesco, has a big drive, very scenic surroundings and Uppermill just 5 mins away which was beautiful.

Fantastic property, very high standard of cleanliness and great quality bedding and towels. Couldn’t rate this place high enough.

Secret cottage was a lovely location for what we needed. Was attending a family wedding. Everything was within walking distance. Very well maintained, lovely decor and excellent kitchen and facilities. Hot tub was a bonus! Thoughtful gift basket with local produce. Brownies didn’t last long with the kids. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for someone to stay in this location. The owner was very responsive and available for any queries. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Photos don't do this place justice. We travel a lot and are what one would call "needy" and "demanding" when it comes to the standard of our accommodation and Deborah's place did not disappoint. It was above and beyond what we expected. Stunning location, with plenty to do, but private at the same time. We will be back. Kids loved it, adults loved it, the place is designed in style and very clean. You won't be disappointed.

I cannot recommend this properly highly enough. Myself and my Partner have stayed in many properties all over the world and Lower Arthur's cottages was one of the best we have stayed in for a weekend break.

Everything from the excellent customer service, the beautiful interior and exterior of the house (the garden is a wonderful haven of peace), through to the amazing breakfast delivered to us on the Sunday morning was something you would expect from a high end Boutique Hotel.

We took our dog and Lower Arthur's cottage was prefect for us to walk directly around stunning lakes and walks.

An absolute gem. I cannot describe how beautiful this home is. The interior was perfect, spotlessly clean and felt like a top hotel. The garden was beautiful too. The location was brilliant, less than 10 minutes to the train station, 5 minutes to coffee shops either way, and a gorgeous 15 minute walk into Uppermill along the canal or bridle way. Communication was good, and the welcome pack was the best we have ever had. 5 stars all round.

This place is an absolute gem and we couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend . The inside decor is something you would expect from a luxury boutique hotel . The two main bedrooms are spacious and extremely comfortable.

The welcome pack with the fruit, milk and bread etc was a nice touch .

The garden area is also fantastic with a lovely seating area around the fire pit and the hot tub was a nice way to end a days walking and shopping in Manchester .

We used the house as a base to visit friends in the area and the information pack that is sent out is worth a read as some of the tips on local restaurants and walks are spot on .

Also for those with electric cars like us there are 4 chargers at the local Tesco about 200 metres away so very handy .

What an amazing stay! Everything was just perfect. We had a 4 day stay here for 7 of us on a girls break. It was just what we needed. We arrived to lots of local goodies left by the host Helen which was a lovely touch. The decor of the house is just beautiful, beds were super comfy and the bedding was like being in a 5* hotel. We enjoyed a BBQ at the house on the first night as we had some great weather. Which also meant that we got great use out of the hot tub and fire pit. On the second night we went into Manchester City centre which was only around a 40min taxi and on the Sunday we got to enjoy one of the local pubs, The White Hart Lydgate which I would highly recommend. Overall a perfect weekend and we would all recommend!
