Whit Friday

Whit Friday – the annual festival that see’s thousands descend upon Saddleworth, from all over the world to take part and spectate in Brass Band competitions and Whit Walks throughout each village, huge crowds gather for this event, it’s certainly not one to miss.

Yanks Weekend

The two day event, inspired by the iconic World War II film Yanks, which was partly filmed in the area features classic cars, live music and an atmosphere reminiscent of the 1940.

The best community charity music event held in Saddleworth.

Rushcart

The local Morris side revived the moribund local tradition of gathering the rushes in a two-wheeled decorated cart and bringing them back to St Chad’s Church at Uppermill.

Party In The Park

The popular family festival, at Delph and Dobcross Cricket Club.

Uppermill Santa Dash

The yearly sell out event is expecting full capacity of 1,800 participants taking part in the dash that leaves a packed Uppermill village leading into greenfield round and back into the village for post dash fun.
